The Preschool Years
(Age 18 months - 5 years)
Over 70 informative videos to guide you through the early years from
Dr Martha, Clinical Psychologist and Mother.
It Starts With You
Raising young children is challenging. I am here to help.
The Confident Parent course is practical and video-based, created to help you navigate the preschool years (18mos-5yrs) with your sanity intact.
Created by me Dr Martha, a clinical psychologist and mother, these easy-to-follow guides are straightforward and evidence-based.
Course topics cover sleep, fussy eating, potty training, challenging behaviours and tantrums, as well as bathtimes, bedtimes and toothbrushing, medical visits, building frustration tolerance, tidying up, navigating feelings, choosing your childcare, sibling relationships, dealing with dummies and more!
I walk you through these subjects in over 70 short videos to help you become more confident with your parenting whilst setting your child up to be emotionally resilient, cooperative and have a strong connection with you.
I often think of the preschool chapter (aged 18 months - 5 years) as “The Tremendous Years”, highly formative and often challenging to navigate. This course is to help your family thrive through this time.
It’s never too late to learn strategies that help you become the grown-up your child needs you to be.
You may well have come here wanting to ‘fix’ your child’s behaviour but I will give you the tools to be effective in how you respond and relate to your child.
We don’t just parent for the season of childhood, we parent for a lifetime.
